Shopping - Croatia

Working days

Everything is open and working from Monday to Friday. On Saturdays, grocery shops are open, as well as most other shops and services. Restaurants and cafés always work, however, on Sundays, the opening hours are sometimes in the afternoon. Even though Sunday is the day when almost nothing is open, this doesn't go for most of the grocery shops and malls. However, I sincerely recommend you check working hours for each place you want to go to, as there are exceptions. For example, most of the museums don't work on monday.

ATM's are truly numerous and can be found everywhere, thus there is no need for you to have tons on cash on you. ATM's accept all popular cards (Maestro, MasterCard, Visa, Amex, etc.)

It is not a must, but it would be nice to tip in bar or restaurant, with about 10%. Also, your travel guide, if you have one, was doing a hard work to explain you where are you and what are you looking at, so a small reward would be nice :)
