The Croatian islands include almost all the islands of the eastern Adriatic coast and its central part, making it the second largest archipelago in the Mediterranean. There are 1185 of them. Each Croatian island is another story, with its sights, customs, and peculiarities.

The islands of Croatia are divided into:

• Kvarner (Krk, Rab, Cres, Losinj and Pag)

Krk

Cres is a popular destination for nature lovers, home of the griffon vulture, who do not live anywhere else. Vrana Lake, known for its unique hydrological and geological features, is also a phenomenon. Water activities on Cres including deep-sea fishing, windsurfing, scuba diving and sailing around the Kvarner.

Losinj

In Losinj you can enjoy the mild Mediterranean climate, beautiful beaches, hiking, cycling, walking ...More than 50 protected plant and 27 protected animal species, will attract lovers of botany.The particularity of the whole cluster is a colony of bottlenose dolphins, which clearly testifies to the purity of the sea.The colony has 150 individuals.

Pag

Pag will delight you with its traditional delicacies, cheese and lamb. The leading tourism destination at Pag, Novalja you can enjoy and have a good time at the famous beach Zrce which called Croatian ibiza or in many other bars and nightclubs.

Hvar

On the Hvar is the oldest theater in Europe. Korcula
